XTO Energy Inc. and its subsidiaries are engaged in the acquisition, development, exploitation and exploration of producing oil and gas properties, and in the production, processing, marketing and transportation of oil and natural gas. Its production and exploration are concentrated in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska and Louisiana. It also gathers, processes and markets gas, transports and markets oil and conducts other activities directly related to its oil and gas producing activities.

Financial Information
For the fiscal year ended 12/31/04, revenues rose 64% to $1.95 billion. Net income before acct. change rose 77% to $507.9 million. Results reflect higher gas production due to the development activity in East Texas and the absence of loss on debt extinguishment.
