Business Description
West Corporation is an independent provider of outsourced communication services and conferencing services. The Company provides its products and services through two segments, Communication Services and Conferencing Services. West's Communication Services business includes both agent-based and automated solutions. Agent-based solutions provide clients with a portfolio of services driven by both customer-initiated and Company-initiated transactions. West's automated services provide large-volume, automated voice response services including secure automated credit card activation, prepaid calling card services, automated product information requests and call routing and call transfer services. The Company's Conferencing Services business include an integrated suite of audio, video and Web conferencing services that range from basic automated solutions to international operator-assisted and event driven solutions.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 23% to $880.7 million. Net income rose 27% to $82.7 million. Revenues reflect the acquisition of InterCall. Net income reflects higher gross margins from InterCall.
