The Company's network of veterinary diagnostic laboratories provides sophisticated testing and consulting services used by veterinarians in the detection, diagnosis, evaluation, monitoring, treatment and prevention of diseases and other conditions affecting animals. Serving all 50 states, VCA Antech provides diagnostic testing for an estimated 14,000 clients, which include animal hospitals, large animal practices, universities and other government organizations. The Company's animal hospitals offer a range of general medical and surgical services for companion animals, as well as specialized treatments. It also provides advanced diagnostic services, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology and cardiology.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 21% to $497.6 million. Net income rose 48% to $50.3M. Results reflect growth in animal hospital revenue as well as revenues from laboratory operations and higher operating margins.
