Questar Corporation is a natural gas-focused energy company that is involved in natural gas activities through two groups: Market Resources and Regulated Services. Market Resources engages in gas and oil development and production; cost-of-service gas development; gas gathering and processing, and wholesale gas and hydrocarbon liquids marketing, risk management and gas storage. Regulated Services, through two primary subsidiaries, Questar Pipeline Company and Questar Gas Company, conducts interstate gas transmission and storage activities and retail gas distribution services.

For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 28% to $1.29 billion. Net income before acct. change rose 31% to $155.6 million. Results reflect increased commodity prices and reduced Questar Gas rate-refund obligation.
