Business Description
Renal Care Group, Inc. provides dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure, also known as end-stage renal disease. As of December 31, 2003, it provided dialysis and ancillary services to over 21,400 patients through 284 outpatient dialysis centers in 27 states. In addition to its outpatient dialysis center operations, as of December 31, 2003, RCI provided acute dialysis services through contractual relationships with more than 130 hospitals. In April 2004, the Company acquired National Nephrology Associates, Inc., a Nashville-based dialysis services provider, which will add approximately 5,600 patients and 87 outpatient dialysis facilities in 15 states, as well as acute care contracts with approximately 55 hospitals.

Financial Information
For the nine monhts ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 31% to $975 million. Earnings rose 21% to $89.7 million. Results reflect the acquisition and development of various dialysis facilities, partially offset by an increase in depreciation expense.
