PPL Corporation is an energy and utility holding company that conducts its business through its significant subsidiaries, PPL Energy Supply, LLC, PPL Electric Utilities Corporation and PPL Montana, LLC. PPL Energy Supply, LLC is an energy company engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the generation and marketing of power, primarily in the northeastern and western power markets of the United States and in the delivery of electricity in the United Kingdom and Latin America. PPL Electric Utilities Corporation is a regulated public utility that provides electricity delivery service in its service territory in Pennsylvania, and electricity supply to retail customers in that territory as a Provider of Last Resort under the Customer Choice Act. PPL Montana, LLC operates interests in 13 electric generating facilities, which it owns or leases, with an aggregate capacity of 1,157 megawatts. Its primary regional market for wholesale customers is the northwest United States.
