Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is an operating public utility in New Jersey. PSEG Power LLC was formed to acquire, own and operate the electric generation-related assets of PSE&G. PSEG Energy Holdings participates in three energy-related business segments through wholly owned subsidiaries. PSEG Services Corporation provides management and administrative services to the Company and its other subsidiaries.

For the six months ended 6/30/02, revenues fell 14% to $4.07 billion. Net loss from continuing operations extraordinary items and accounting change totalled $47 million vs. an income of $408 million. Results reflect decreased trading activities, and $506 million in project write-down charges.
