Precision Castparts Corp. manufactures metal components and products, provides investment castings, forgings and fasteners/fastener systems for aerospace and industrial gas turbine applications. The Company provides investment castings and forgings for automotive, armament, medical and other applications; fasteners for automotive and industrial markets; specialty alloys, waxes and metal processing solutions for the investment casting industry; engineered fluid-handling industrial pumps and valves for markets; refiner plates, screen cylinders, refiner rebuilds and other products for the pulp and paper industry; metal-injection-molded and ThixoFormed parts for automotive and other markets; metal-matrix-composite components for the electronics, transportation and communications industries, and metalworking tools for the fastener market. In November 2004, the Company sold its PCC Flow Technologies segment to Cooper Cameron Corporation.

Financial Information
For the 26 weeks ended 9/26/04, sales rose 65% to $1.37 billion. Net income from continuing operations rose 79% to $107.7 million. Revenues reflect the inclusion of SPS business. Net income reflects the absence of restructuring expenses.
