Business Description
Premcor Inc. is an independent petroleum refiner and supplier of unbranded transportation fuels, heating oil, petrochemical feedstocks, petroleum coke and other petroleum products in the United States. The Company owns and operates four refineries, which are located in Port Arthur, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; Delaware City, Delaware, and Lima, Ohio, with a combined crude oil volume processing capacity, known as throughput capacity, of approximately 790,000 barrels per day (bpd). Premcor sells petroleum products in the Midwest, the Gulf Coast, Eastern and Southeastern United States. The Company sells its products on an unbranded basis to approximately 1,200 distributors and chain retailers through its own product distribution system and a third-party owned product distribution system, as well as in the spot market. The Company also sells its products to end users in the transportation and commercial sectors, including airlines, railroads and utilities.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 09/30/04, revenues rose 61% to $10.53 billion. Net income from continuing operations totalled $329.1 million. up from $133.9 million. Results reflect acquisition of the Delaware City Refinery and improved opertaing profits.
