PepsiAmericas, Inc. manufactures, distributes and markets a portfolio of beverage products in the United States, Central Europe and the Caribbean. The Company sells brands that it bottles under franchise agreements with various brand owners, including PepsiCo, Inc. (PepsiCo), or PepsiCo joint ventures. It manufactures, packages, sells and distributes its own brands, such as Toma brands in Central Europe. Its territories in the United States include a portion of an 18-state region, primarily in the Midwest. In Central Europe, PepsiAmericas serves Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Republic of Slovakia. In the Caribbean, its territories include Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago. The beverages are available in different package types such as two-liter bottles, multi-pack and single serve offerings of one-liter, half-liter, 20-ounce and 24-ounce bottles, and multi-packs of six, 12, 18 and 24 cans.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/04, revenues rose 5% to $2.53 billion. Net income rose 21% to $146.5 million. Revenues reflect worldwide average net selling price increases of 6.8%. Net income also reflects increased operating margin due to lower net special charges, decreased net interest expense, and higher net other income.
