NTL Incorporated is a broadband and communications services company in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The Company provides its services through five segments: ntl: home, ntl: business, ntl: broadcast, ntl: carriers and ntl: Ireland. On January 10, 2003, the Company emerged from reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. As part of the plan of reorganization (the Plan), NTL substantially reduced its indebtedness. Pursuant to the Plan, the Company's former parent NTL Europe, Inc., formerly known as NTL Incorporated, and its subsidiaries and affiliates were split into two separate groups, with the Company and NTL Europe, Inc., each emerging as independent public companies. The Company was renamed NTL Incorporated and became the holding company for the former NTL group's principal United Kingdom and Ireland assets

For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 20% to $3.19 billion. Net loss rose 2% to $742.3M. Revenues reflect the acquisition of assets and the Viatel UK contracts. Net loss reflects the inclusion of loss on extinguishment of debt.
