Novell, Inc. provides network and Internet directory software and services making networks more manageable and secure, integrating computer platforms, applications, services and devices. For the nine months ended 7/02, revenues rose 13% to $834 million. Net loss before acct. change fell 93% to $11.4 million. Revenues reflect the acquisition of Cambridge and higher international sales. Lower loss also reflects lower sales and marketing expenses.
