The Company applies its analog, mixed signal, digital signal processing and complex digital design technologies in a variety of applications. Its product portfolio consists of storage, switching, transceivers, wireless, personal computers (PC) connectivity, gateways, communications controllers and power management products. In June 2003, the Company acquired RADLAN Computer Communications Ltd., a provider of embedded networking software. On November 24, 2003, the Company acquired Asica, Inc., a designer and developer of digital signal processors used in consumer and other applications.

Financial Information
For the six months ended 7/31/04, revenue rose 57% to $566.7 million. Net income totaled $43.1 million, up from $13.8 million. Results reflect higher sales from wireless LAN and storage electronics and improved operating margins.
