Lexmark International, Inc. is a developer, manufacturer and supplier of printing solutions, including laser and inkjet printers, multifunction products, associated supplies and services, for offices and homes. The Company develops and owns most of the technology for its laser and inkjet products and associated supplies. The Company also sells dot matrix printers for printing single- and multi-part forms by business users. The Company also develops, manufactures and markets a line of other office imaging products. Lexmark's products are sold in over 150 countries in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Pacific Rim and the Caribbean. Revenue derived from international sales, including exports from the United States, make up about half of the Company's consolidated revenue, with Europe accounting for approximately two-thirds of international sales.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 11% to $3.77 billion. Net income increased 38% to $413.7 million. Revenues reflect increased sales of laser and inkjet supplies. Earnings also reflect an increase in operating margin.
