Lincare Holdings Inc., together with its subsidiaries (Lincare and the Company), is a provider of oxygen and other respiratory therapy services to patients in the home. The Company's customers suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis or asthma and require supplemental oxygen or other respiratory therapy services in order to alleviate the symptoms and discomfort of respiratory dysfunction. Lincare serves over 480,000 customers in 47 states through 727 operating centers. The Company also supplies home medical equipment, such as hospital beds, wheelchairs and other supplies that may be required by its customers.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04 revenues rose 12% to $944.3M. Net income rose 18% to $200.7 million. Revenues benefitted from the opening of 18 new operating centers and acquisitions. Net income also benefitted from improved productivity and cost controls.
