Business Description
The Coca-Cola Company manufactures, distributes and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups, including fountain syrups, in markets across the world. The Company manufactures and sells non-alcoholic beverages, primarily carbonated soft drinks and a variety of non-carbonated beverages. Coca-Cola also manufactures and distributes juices and juice drinks and certain water products such as Dasani. In addition, the Company has ownership interests in numerous bottling and canning operations. Coca-Cola has five strategic business units: North America, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. Finished beverage products bearing its trademarks are sold in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues increased 5% to $16.71 billion. Net income increased 7% to $3.65 billion. Revenues reflect an increase in gallon shipments. Net income also reflects an increase in equity income ($496 million, up from $325 million).
