Business Description
Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (JHA) provides integrated computer systems providing data processing and management information to banks, credit unions and other financial institutions in the United States. The Company offers a complete, integrated suite of data processing system solutions to improve its customers' management of their entire back-office and customer/member interaction processes. The Company also performs data conversion and software installation for the implementation of its systems and provides continuing customer support services after the systems are installed. For customers who prefer not to acquire hardware and software, the Company provides outsourcing services through seven data centers and 17 item-processing centers located across the United States. The Company derives its revenue primarily from three sources: sales of software products, support and service, which includes installation service and hardware sales.
Financial Information
For the three months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 14% to $124.1 million. Net income rose 20% to $16.7 million. Revenues reflect a strong increase in license sales and continued growth in support and service revenues. Net income also reflects improved gross margins and increased interest income.
