Jefferies Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries operate as a full-service investment bank and institutional securities firm focused on the middle market. The Company offers financial advisory, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring services to small and mid-cap companies and provides trade execution in equity, high yield, convertible and international securities, as well as research and asset management capabilities, to institutional investors. Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 37% to $873.4 million. Net income rose 80% to $96 million. Results reflect higher principal transaction, investment banking revenues and asset management fees and investment income from managed funds received during the period.
