HAS designs, manufactures and markets a diverse line of toy products and related items including games, preschool toys, dolls, plush products and infant products. The Company also licenses various property rights. For the 26 weeks ended 6/30/02, revenues rose 2% to $998.3 million. Net loss before acct. change rose 2% to $42.9 million. Revenues reflect an increase in sales in the U.S. Toys segment. Higher loss reflects an increase in royalties and advertising expenses.
