Graco Incorporated designs, manufactures and markets systems and equipment to move, measure, mix, proportion, control, dispense and spray a variety of fluids and viscous materials. The Company has three business segments: Industrial/Automotive Equipment, Contractor Equipment and Lubrication Equipment. The Industrial/Automotive Equipment segment markets equipment and pre-engineered packages for moving and applying paints, coatings, sealants, adhesives and other fluids. The Contractor Equipment segment markets sprayers for architectural coatings for painting, roofing, texture, corrosion control and line striping and also high-pressure washers. The Lubrication Equipment segment markets products to move and dispense lubricants for fast oil change facilities, service garages, fleet service centers, automobile dealerships, the mining industry and industrial lubrication. Financial Information
For the 39 weeks ended 9/24/04, revenues rose 11% to $444.2 million. Net income rose 24% to $81.1 million. Revenues reflect favorable exchange rates and new product introductions. Net income also reflects improved gross profit margins.
