Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. is engaged in the research, development, sale and marketing of branded and generic prescription pharmaceuticals used primarily to treat and manage pain. The Company's primary area of focus within the pain management market is in the opioid analgesics segment. Endo Pharmaceuticals has a portfolio of branded products that includes established brand names such as Lidoderm, Percocet, Percodan and Zydone. Branded products accounted approximately 70% of its net sales during the year ended December 31, 2003. The Company's generic portfolio, which accounted for 30% of its net sales in 2003, consisted of products that are concentrated in pain management.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues increased 1% to $457.8 million. Net income increased 12% to $114.1 million. Revenues reflect increased sales of Lidoderm(R) and an increase in net sales of generic products. Net income also reflects the absence of a $48.5 million stock option compensation expenses.
