Dynegy Inc. produces and delivers energy, including natural gas, power, natural gas liquids and coal, through its owned and contractually controlled network of physical assets. The Company serves customers by aggregating production and supply and delivering value-added solutions to meet their energy needs. Dynegy has four reportable business segments: Wholesale Energy Network, Dynegy Midstream Services, Transmission and Distribution and Dynegy Global Communications. Through its global energy delivery network and marketing, logistics and risk-management capabilities, the Company provides solutions to customers in North America, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe.

Net loss applicable to Com. and before acct. chg. totalled $228 million vs. income of $283 million. Results reflect decreased domestic income and a $323 million impairment charge.
