For the six months ended 6/30/02, net sales rose 3% to $657.4 million. Net income rose 26% to $109.3 million. Revenues reflect price increases and continued strength in selling licensed designs and services. Net income also reflects a higher gross profit due to cost reductions and productivity improvements.
