The WhiteWave Foods Company segment develops, manufactures, markets, and sells various nationally-branded soy, dairy, and dairy-related products, such as soymilk and cultured soy products; dairy products, juices, and other products; coffee creamers; and creamers and cultured products. The segment also sells branded tofu; milks and milkshakes; and sour cream. WhiteWave Foods Company sells its products to various customers, including grocery stores, club stores, natural foods stores, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, and foodservice outlets. In addition, the company, through its International Group segment, manufactures, markets, and sells private label and branded milk, butter, and cream through its internal sales force to retailers and distributors across Spain and Portugal. Dean Foods was founded in 1925 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
