Cincinnati Financial Corporation (CFC) is the holding company of The Cincinnati Insurance Company (CIC), CFC Investment Company (CFC-I) and CinFin Capital Management Company (CinFin). CIC is an insurance carrier presently licensed to conduct multiple-line underwriting. This includes the sale of fire, automobile, casualty, bonds and all related forms of property casualty insurance in 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. CFC-I owns certain real estate in the Greater Cincinnati area and is in the business of leasing or financing various items, principally automobiles, trucks, computer equipment, machine tools, construction equipment and office equipment. CinFin offers investment management services to corporations, insurance agencies and companies, institutions, pension plans and high net worth individuals.
Financial Information
CINF provides property and casualty, life, fire, health and all related forms of property and casualty insurance. CINF's CFC-I provides vehicle and equipment leasing. For the six months ended 06/02, total revenues increased 10% to $1.39 billion. Net income fell 10% to $110 million. Revenues reflect growth in net property and casualty premiums written. Net income was offset by higher catastrophe losses caused by wind and hailstorms.
