Cinergy Corp. is the utility holding company for The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company (CG&E) and PSI Energy, Inc. (PSI), both of which are public utility subsidiaries. The Company's other principal subsidiaries are Cinergy Wholesale Energy, Inc., Cinergy Services, Inc., Cinergy Investments, Inc., Cinergy Global Resources, Inc. and Cinergy Technologies, Inc. In addition, Cinergy manages its business through the three business units: Energy Merchant Business Unit, which manages wholesale generation and the domestic and foreign energy marketing and trading of energy commodities; Regulated Businesses Business Unit, which consists of a regulated, integrated utility, and regulated electric and gas transmission and distribution systems, and Power Technology and Infrastructure Services Business Unit, which manages the development, marketing, and sales of the Company's non-regulated retail energy and energy-related businesses.

Cinergy is a holding company whose subsidiaries are engaged in the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric energy and the distribution of natural gas in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. For the six months ended 6/02, revenues fell 37% to $4.68 billion. Net income applicable to Common fell 31% to $140.7 million. Results reflect a decrease in price per MWh and lower price received per mcf, partially offset by decreased purchased gas and exchanged power expenses.
