During the year ended December 31, 2003, it handled approximately 3.2 million shipments for over 16,000 customers. It operates through a network of 158 offices in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. It has global multimodal transportation and distribution networks to provide seamless logistics services worldwide. In 2003, it acquired the ongoing operations of Frank M. Viet GmbH Internationale Spedition, an international freight forwarding and third-party logistics company, and, in February 2004, it acquired Camway Transportation Corporation, a third-party logistics company that provides domestic truckload and intermodal transportation brokerage services.

Financial Information
For the nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 18% to $3.15 billion. Net income rose 24% to $98.7 million. Revenues reflect increased truck transportation revenues and higher transaction volumes. Net income also reflects improved gross margins and increased interest income.
