For the six months ended 6/30/02, net sales rose 4% to $6.76 billion. Net income rose 14% to $1.04 billion. Revenues reflect growth in both domestic and international beer sales. Earnings reflect lower brewing material and energy costs, reduced aluminum prices and improved equity earnings from Grupo Modelo.
