BearingPoint, Inc. is a business consulting, systems integration and managed services firm serving Global 2,000 companies, medium-sized businesses, government agencies and other organizations. The Company, formerly KPMG Consulting, Inc., provides business and technology strategy, systems design, architecture, applications implementation, network, systems integration and managed services. Through June 30, 2003, BearingPoint provided consulting services through five industry groups in which the Company has industry-specific knowledge. Effective July 1, 2003, BearingPoint combined its Consumer and Industrial Markets and High Technology industry groups to form the Consumer, Industrial and Technology industry group. The Company's industry groups are Public Services, Communications and Content, Financial Services and Consumer, Industrial and Technology.

Financial Information
For the comparable nine months ended 9/30/04, revenues rose 10% to $2.59 billion. Net income before acctg. change totaled $29.3M vs. a loss of $24.7 million. Revenues reflect growth in both Public and Financial Services business units. Net income reflects lower amortization of intangible assets.
